Requirements

iPhone or iPad running iOS 26.0 or later, or a Mac running macOS 26.0 or later. Studying works entirely offline; the internet is used only by iCloud, to sync your progress between your devices, and by the App Store for the optional Full Access purchase. On the App Store it is listed as Flight Dispatcher Exam Prep; under its icon it is Dispatch Prep.

Full Access, restoring a purchase and offer codes

The app is free to try: 80 practice questions in any mode — the topics, Smart Review and every generated trainer — one full mock paper on either FDOPS or FDMET, and the whole Library. Full Access is a single one-time in-app purchase — no subscription — that unlocks every question, unlimited mock papers on both papers and every trainer, on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. It follows your Apple Account: on another device it unlocks by itself, or tap Restore purchases in the Full Access block at the bottom of the Library tab. Have an offer code? Tap Redeem a code there or on the purchase screen. With iCloud sync on, the free questions and the free mock paper are shared by your synced devices. Downloaded the app before version 1.1? You keep everything, free.

How the app works

Practise by topic — choose an answer, change your mind if you like, then confirm it to see the explanation — or sit a full mock paper (80 questions for FDOPS, 100 for FDMET) under the real 3½-hour time limit with the pass mark at 70%. On a keyboard, A–D or 1–4 choose an answer, Return confirms it, and the arrow keys move through a mock paper. Every answer is tracked: missed questions come back on a spaced schedule in Smart Review, and the Home tab estimates your readiness by section and topic. The Load & Trim Trainer generates a fresh load and trim sheet with questions computed from it — zero fuel weight, per cent MAC and the weight-shift problem — and the Calculation Drills generate ISA, density altitude, fuel, crosswind, convergency, time zone and descent problems with worked solutions.

Progress on every device, and resetting

Your iPhone, iPad and Mac combine their progress through your own iCloud account: answers add up, the review schedule carries on from your latest answer, and mock paper results from every device appear together, FDOPS and FDMET each in their own record. Sign in to iCloud on each device; the switch is in Library › Sync, and it is on unless you turn it off. Every device still keeps its own copy, so studying works offline and catches up when you are back online. The copy lives in the private database of your own iCloud account: the developer cannot see it, and nothing is stored on a server of ours. To delete it, use Settings › your name › iCloud › Storage › Dispatch Prep on an iPhone or iPad. To start over, use "Reset all progress" at the bottom of the Library tab: with sync on it erases progress on every device, with sync off on that device only.

A question looks wrong?

Every question carries an explanation and a source reference. If you believe an answer conflicts with the current TC AIM, CARs or CAP, email the question text and your reference — verified corrections ship in the next update. Always treat the current official publications as authoritative.
