Dispatch Prep
Both Transport Canada generic flight dispatcher papers in one app — original questions across all nine subject areas, computer flight plans and weather folders generated fresh every time, and mock papers that sit like the real thing.
Free to try on the App StoreTwo papers, tracked separately
A dispatcher candidate sits FDOPS — 80 questions on air law and ATS procedures, aircraft systems, instruments, navigation and flight planning, radio aids, flight operations, theory of flight and human factors — and FDMET, 100 questions on meteorology. Both run 3½ hours and both are passed at 70%. The app keeps a separate readiness figure, question history and exam record for each, so you always know which paper you are ready for.
A computer flight plan generator, not one stale example
TP 12513 asks a dispatcher to decode, analyse and interpolate a computer flight plan. Every session builds a brand-new one — WPT, MTR, TAS, G/S, DR, ZD, DREM, ZT, ZF and FREM columns, the POA / ALT / HLD / RES fuel block, operational weight and payload — and asks questions whose answers are computed from that sheet. Load and trim sheets and weather folders work the same way. Infinite practice, never memorised answers.
Weather the way the desk sees it
The weather folder generator issues a coherent METAR, TAF and upper wind set for a destination and its alternate, together with the published alternate minima for the approaches available, and asks the question a dispatcher actually has to answer: can this aerodrome be filed as the alternate? Ceilings, visibility, TEMPO groups and the CAP GEN minima table, worked against a fresh scenario each time.
Smart review that doesn't forget
Every answer is tracked. Missed questions return on a spaced schedule until they stick, and the dashboard estimates your readiness against the 70% pass mark for each paper — by section and by topic, so you always know what to study next.
Worked calculations & must-know numbers
Generated ISA deviation, density and pressure altitude, cold temperature correction, freezing level, minimum fuel under CAR 602.88 and 705.25, equal time point, point of no return, crosswind, convergency, payload and descent problems, every one with a full worked solution. Plus a Library card of the memorisation core for every topic — fuel reserves, alternate minima, icing and turbulence reporting criteria, wake turbulence separation, duty limits — each with its source reference.
