Private Pilot Prep: FAA Exam
Train past the 70% line on the private pilot knowledge test — 716 original questions across seven subjects, every one carrying its ACS code, freshly generated nav logs, weight and balance sheets and weather reports, and mock tests that feel like the real sitting.
Exam-faithful mocks
60 questions weighted across the seven subjects — regulations, weather, airspace and airports, navigation, aircraft and systems, performance and weight and balance, and human factors — with the real 2-hour countdown, generated nav-log, weight and balance and weather blocks, flagging and a question palette. No feedback until you submit, exactly like exam day, then the result against the real 70% standard, with a per-subject breakdown for diagnosis and the ACS codes you missed ready to study.
A nav log generator, not one stale example
Every session plans a brand-new VFR cross-country between real United States airports — winds aloft, variation, true airspeed, fuel flow and a compass deviation card — and asks the questions computed from that log: magnetic heading, groundspeed, time en route, ETA, minimum fuel, compass heading and endurance. Infinite practice, never memorized answers.
Loading sheets, METARs and TAFs
A weight-and-balance trainer loads a four-seat trainer and asks for takeoff weight, center of gravity, envelope status, landing CG and the weight-shift fix — about a third of the sheets are deliberately out of limits. A weather trainer generates coherent METAR and TAF pairs and asks you to decode them and decide whether the flight is VFR, special VFR or neither.
Smart review that doesn't forget
Every answer is tracked. Missed questions return on a spaced schedule until they stick, and the dashboard estimates your readiness against the 70% pass mark — by subject and by topic, so you always know what to study next.
Worked calculations & must-know numbers
Generated density altitude, cloud base, time-speed-distance, fuel, time zone, 1-in-60, compass heading, crosswind, stall speed, glide and medical-validity problems with full worked solutions, plus a Library card of the memorization core for every topic — VFR minima, fuel reserves, cruising altitudes, transponder codes, ELT rules, METAR groups and more, each with its source reference.
