Ride Ready

Practice for the ground portion of the Transport Canada PPL and CPL flight test — the part that happens at the table, before you walk out to the aeroplane.

What it does

An examiner assesses four ground items before the flight begins: 2A documents and airworthiness, 2B performance, 2C weight and balance, and 23A pre-flight planning. Each is marked on a four-point scale, and a single ground item marked 1 ends the flight test on the spot.

The app runs the same way. You are asked a question, you answer it out loud, you reveal what the examiner is listening for, and you mark yourself honestly on that same scale. Anything you mark 1 or 2 comes back first next time.

A study aid, not a Transport Canada publication. Verify anything you will be marked on against the current Canadian Aviation Regulations, the current flight test guide, and the Pilot's Operating Handbook for your aircraft.
